Avoiding pagan customs like Christmas trees or Easter symbols often seems challenging culturally, yet it helped deepen my focus on genuine worship. Observing the Sabbath as outlined—resting and dedicating time solely to God—brings peace amid life's constant busyness. I also paid close attention to dietary instructions from Leviticus and Deuteronomy regarding clean and unclean foods, which enhanced my physical and spiritual health. The warnings in Ezekiel 22:26 and Isaiah 66 about neglecting these commands serve as sobering reminders to remain steadfast. Obedience is tied to receiving the Holy Spirit (John 14:15-17) and blessings, reinforcing that true faith expresses itself through action, not just words. Building your life "on the rock," as referenced in Deuteronomy and Matthew, means a firm foundation is obedience to God's word. In my experience, keeping these commandments has fostered inner strength, clarity of purpose, and a profound connection with God’s presence every day.
