I can't STAND the Halloween Police!
The costume is still recognizable, so it really doesn’t matter if someone adds a corset or not you still know who they are! Plus, using a corset can actually make a costume more affordable and still super cute.
And about the whole “Halloween should be scary” thing… I don’t think that’s true. The point of Halloween is to dress up and have fun. When we were kids, most of us didn’t wear scary costumes so why does it suddenly have to be all horror now that we’re older?
I honestly don’t get the obsession with hating on people who wear corsets in their costumes.. It’s not like they’re forcing anyone else to wear one! Just put on your own costume, go trick or treating, make spooky snacks, watch Halloween movies, and go on about the rest of your life. I promise it won't hurt you.
