ingredients:
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup softened unsalted butter
½ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed light brown sugar packed
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
½ cup chopped fresh strawberries
1 cup milk chocolate chips
instructions:
1. preheat oven to 375°
2. whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium size bowl
3. in a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract
4. add eggs one at a time, mixing between each egg
5. add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture and mix just until combined
6. fold in the strawberries and chocolate chips, by hand until combined
7. scoop the dough onto 2 baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between them
8. bake for 13-15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges. leave on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack
