The most underrated part of WI!
I think we found one of if not the most underrated spot in Wisconsin!
📍Apostle Islands National Lakeshore - it’s made up of 21 small islands on the northern tip of Wisconsin.
⛴️ You can see them or visit them by taking a boat. There are standard group cruises where you don’t leave the boat, or you can take the option where you can get off to explore some areas. There are also private charters where you can bring kayaks and go really explore the water! (more expensive option but likely worth it). You can also use your own boat.
🥾 There are tons of hiking trails and camping spots on several islands.
🐻 There are bears on several islands, and you can even see them swimming from island to island or maintain at times and deer as well. Be cautious of the bears!
❄️ You can do tours in the winter and see frozen sea caves, which are probably amazing to witness.
