Trust while Tested🙏🦋
One minute life is All Rosey, the next it's full of Thorns.
Last night I had to go to Emergency. After every test, and an IV, and discovering I am still Healthy, but shouldn't be lifting 50 lbs x 2 and running around doing too much..I was able to head home. Blood pressure that broke a record back down to normal.
I hadn't seen a Alopathic Doctor in 5 years. It was nice catching up with those that I knew.
Today and for the rest of this week, I will go slow. Recuperate...let my muscles and bones relax.
I am on Day 38 of Reading Psalm 27. Verse 14 is a favourite.
"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." 🙏♥️🕊
And Verse 3 "Though an host should encamp against me, my Heart shall not Fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident." 🙏🦋🌹
May you, too, be confident when being tested. Blessings and Love! 🙏🐞

Going through unexpected health challenges can truly test not only our physical resilience but also our inner strength and faith. I have found that during moments when life's roses quickly turn to thorns, it is essential to embrace patience and a gentle approach to healing. For me, slowing down and acknowledging the need to rest muscles and bones, as advised by health professionals, has been vital in my recovery journey. In these times, turning to spiritual texts like Psalm 27 has been a source of remarkable comfort. Verses like "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart" resonate deeply, encouraging me to maintain confidence even when circumstances seem overwhelming. It reminds me that although the challenges may feel like a host encamped against me, the heart can find peace and fearlessness through faith. I also believe in the power of prayer not only for oneself but also for others who might be struggling where human efforts fall short. The saying, "Sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is pray for them and let God do what you can't," highlights the profound support that prayer offers when physical or medical interventions reach their limits. This experience has taught me to appreciate the importance of routine health check-ups, even if it’s been years since the last visit. Reconnecting with the healthcare professionals provided reassurance and emphasized that maintaining health is an ongoing process, especially when learning to balance exertion and rest. If you are currently feeling tested, whether in health or life’s other challenges, my advice is to be gentle with yourself. Allow room for recovery, lean on your faith and spirituality if that supports you, and don’t hesitate to seek medical advice when needed. Remember, miracles and healing often begin with simple steps like getting out of bed and taking that first cup of coffee, marking a small but meaningful victory each day. Sharing these reflections is part of my journey to support others going through similar trials. May you find courage, strength, and confidence as you navigate your own tests, and may you be blessed with peace and healing during these times.
