a journey of the self ✨️
autumn is the season most dear to my heart, the beginning of winter the start, of who I will be when I emerge from its hibernation.
In autumn, I always pause to look around my life, and for many many years, I am not where I want to be. But each autumn, I am closer to who I want to be.
I don't know if I will ever get there, but I do know I can try and implement the little things that will help me reach the next hurdle. The journey will never be over, but I will always be closer.
Autumn marks a unique time to slow down and reflect on our personal growth and aspirations. Just as nature prepares for winter hibernation, we too can embrace this period for introspection and renewal. Enjoying each season and appreciating what it offers provides a valuable mindset shift—allowing rest and relaxation without guilt. Incorporating healthy routines, solo dinners, and rediscovering friendships encourages a balanced and confident lifestyle. Creating a moodboard for 'my life in a year' can be a powerful visualization exercise. It helps track progress in self-love, healing, and exploring interests independently. Loving what you do, and doing it exceptionally, boosts motivation and self-esteem. Movement, both physical and mental, enriches overall well-being. This journey of the self is never truly finished. Each autumn, by embracing healing and selfhealing practices, you take steps closer to your ideal self. Visionboards serve as inspiring reminders of your goals, helping to navigate life's hurdles with purpose. Remember, it's not about a final destination but the continuous growth, discovery, and acceptance along the way. Embracing these practices makes the path to self-discovery meaningful and fulfilling year after year.
