High Park
If you're searching for an ideal place to walk your dog in Calgary, High Park is truly a gem. From my experience, this park offers plenty of open spaces which allow pets to explore while still being on leash, ensuring their safety and comfort. I particularly appreciate the abundance of cool art installations throughout the park, which add a unique visual interest to your stroll. Parking is available but be prepared for fee payment. Always remember that dogs need to be under control and on leash, especially in busy downtown locations to avoid stressful encounters with other dogs. It's wise to visit during slower times if it's your dog's first visit. Carrying waste bags and cleaning up after your pet is essential to keeping the area clean and enjoyable for all visitors. In addition to walking your dog, the park’s playground areas and photo opportunities make it a great spot for families. If you prefer quieter moments, I recommend avoiding meeting stranger dogs to keep your dog calm and relaxed. Overall, High Park can be a delightful experience for both you and your furry friends when these simple guidelines are followed.
