No more excuses

A few years ago, I’d find ANY excuse to skip my workout. 😅

⏰ Hit snooze one too many times.

👕 Suddenly laundry became “urgent.”

😴 “One more rest day won’t hurt…” right?

Truthfully? I needed a serious kick in the butt. 💥

And that’s exactly what I got when I finally found workouts I actually enjoyed.

Everything changed when movement stopped feeling like punishment and started feeling like POWER. 🔥

Now I show up for myself because I want to — not because I “have to.”

And that feeling? Priceless. 💪✨

You’re capable of more than you think.

You were literally #madeformore 💖

... Read moreI used to be the queen of workout excuses. Snoozing my alarm multiple times, pretending chores were urgent, and convincing myself that skipping one workout wouldn’t hurt became my daily routine. But the real turning point came when I stopped viewing exercise as a chore and started seeing it as a source of power and joy. Finding workouts that I genuinely enjoyed changed everything. Whether it was a dance class, hiking with friends, or a fun yoga session, the activity itself made me look forward to moving my body. This shift helped me show up consistently—not out of obligation, but because I wanted to. That’s a game changer for anyone struggling with motivation. If you’re facing the same hurdles, try experimenting with different types of movement until you find what lights you up. It could be swimming, cycling, or even brisk walks in nature. Remember, the goal is to make your workout feel less like a punishment and more like a celebration of what your body can do. When you embrace this mindset, excuses lose their power. Also, setting small, realistic goals helped me build confidence. Celebrating every little victory made the process rewarding. Sometimes, I rewarded myself with a favorite smoothie or a relaxing bath after a workout, reinforcing positive habits. Above all, be kind to yourself. Everyone has off days, and that’s okay. What matters most is getting back on track and remembering that you’re capable of more than you realize. You were truly #madeformore, and your fitness journey is just one way to honor that.

I know it’s easy to lean on the ‘I’m human’ excuse. But the truth is… that excuse won’t stand on Judgment Day. God is training us right now to stop letting our flesh lead us. You are spirit first. You’ve got breath in your lungs, which means it’s not too late to surrender fully to Him. Don’
