Salt dough ornaments
These are great crafts to do with kiddos! Plus, so long as you don’t drop them, they last forever.
The first slide is one I made of my old man dog’s paw prints. I just called them over, stuck their paws in the dough and gently press down. You may want to wash the paws after. This would be great for kids hand prints as well! I also didn’t let them dry enough before painting… hence the giant break in the middle. (Thank goodness for glue!)
The hearts are one we made for my girls to give as gifts for school. One of their classrooms did a homemade ornament exchange.
The third slide is ones I let my kids have at creating on their own (well… let them do their thing under supervision. Tiny tornado number 2 probably would have tried to eat the dough at the time)
While they did that. I experimented with some Harry Potter cookie cutters someone had given me.

They’re pretty simple to make and the possibilities are endless! I need to make some more paw print ones with my corgi and collie. I’d do the cats, but I value my life.
