New set up experiment!

My new display table came in yesterday, so I decided to try out my new setup—complete with temporary bookshelf!

So far, I think it will work! I don’t think I’m going to do book bundles this year (the series with special edges + goodies) since I’m concentrating on getting book 4 out and creating an omnibus. (Hopefully it’s not too long!)

I love my new table top banner and can’t wait until my full size one arrives.

My book sleeves have been a staple, though I’ve moved on from sewing (I hand sew because I don’t own a machine!) to crocheting and adding straps.

I still haven’t come up with a clever way to display my bookmarks. They’re slim fitting so you can read with them inside the book, but they often get mistaken for earrings.

I’m phasing my polymer clay book fairies out for several reasons: they’re a slow sell, they’re delicate, and I can’t find the cloche displays I’ve been using for a reasonable price anywhere (was buying them at Dollar Tree, but they stopped carrying them) Instead, I’m going to be introducing “Book-kins” based on Meagan Lapps Impkin patterns (if you’re a crocheter, check them out! They’re seriously amazing patterns and I’ve learned so much with them!). The materials are more readily available, I can work on them on the go, and they don’t create a huge mess! (I do need to buy more stuffing! I ran out making the big guy!) The two displayed will not be for sales. I made them for myself! Now, I’m confide enough in my abilities to gain a little speed. Plus, I found a pattern for little crochet books to hold that I can’t wait to try out!
