Plus, I was pleasantly surprised to see a baby bare-nosed wombat during the visit, adding another adorable encounter. Overall, this experience at Trowunna was heartwarming and relaxing. For anyone road-tripping through Tasmania and looking for memorable wildlife interactions, I’d say this sanctuary is a must-visit spot. The combination of feeding sessions, educational tours, and opportunities to observe Tasmanian Devils and wombats up close makes it a unique destination that also supports important environmental conservation.
