my secret
I used to often mix up my actual height, sometimes thinking I was 155 cm, other times 160 cm. It’s surprising how such a small detail can affect one’s self-image and confidence. Through my experience, I realized that accepting one's physical attributes without overanalyzing can greatly improve personal comfort and self-esteem. Many people struggle with similar confusions, especially when memories or perceptions don't match the facts. For me, it caused some awkward moments — for instance, choosing clothes or shoes that didn’t quite fit or feeling uncertain in social situations. Eventually, I learned to measure myself properly and accept the true height, whether it was at the lower or higher end of my perceived range. Embracing the reality of my stature has had a positive effect on my lifestyle. I became more mindful in selecting fashion that complements my silhouette rather than trying to fit into preconceived standards. Also, focusing less on height and more on health helped me appreciate my body as a whole. If you find yourself confused or insecure about your height, my advice is to take a step back and measure accurately. Then, channel your energy into celebrating who you are, including your height, rather than wishing for what you think should be. Ultimately, confidence doesn’t come from numbers but from self-acceptance and a positive mindset.
