a weekend in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Wow, what an incredible weekend I just had in Puerto Rico! I’m still dreaming of the warm ocean breeze and vibrant island life. From the moment I arrived and settled into my charming accommodation, complete with a sunlit room and a cool abstract art poster on the wall, I knew this trip would be special. My goal was pure relaxation and soaking up the island's natural beauty, and it absolutely delivered! One of the first things I did was head straight to the beach. There’s nothing quite like feeling the soft sand between your toes and hearing the ocean waves break gently. I spent hours just lounging on a striped beach towel, with an open book beside me, enjoying the sun. The clear blue sky was just perfect. I even managed to snap some lovely photos, standing by the ocean with my favorite light strapless top and a long white skirt, feeling completely at peace. Mornings often started with the most delicious breakfasts. I tried some incredible French toast – one day it was topped with fresh fruit and crispy bacon, and another, it came with fluffy whipped cream and a savory omelet. It really was a taste of local goodness that fueled my explorations! While I didn't find traditional Puerto Rican pancakes this trip, these breakfast delights were certainly a highlight. My adventures took me to some truly breathtaking spots. I discovered a stunning scenic waterfall cascading into a clear, green-blue pool – it was absolutely magical! I spent some time just sitting on a rock by the water, watching others swim and enjoying the serene atmosphere. The surrounding area was alive with lush tropical plants and vibrant green foliage, including huge banana leaves, all under that brilliant blue sky. There was even a charming wall covered in green vines and painted white flowers nearby. Later, I explored some historical sites along the coast. Standing on rocks near the ocean, with a large stone wall or fortress in the background, felt like stepping back in time. The views were spectacular, especially as the sun began to set over the water. It was such a picturesque moment, watching the colors change in the sky, reflecting on the water. I also loved just chilling in the evenings, sometimes sitting on a low white wall with a refreshing drink, surrounded by more tropical plants, just taking it all in. My cute white crochet top and long white skirt were perfect for the warm evenings. This weekend recap truly captures how much I adored my time in Puerto Rico. It’s a place filled with so much natural beauty, from its pristine beaches to its hidden waterfalls and rich history. Every corner offered a new amazing view or a delicious bite. If you're looking for an unforgettable escape, I can't recommend Puerto Rico enough. I'm already dreaming of my next visit!
