God was very intentional when I opened up my Bible and he lead me to Deuteronomy chapter 28 obedience vs disobedience:

Your relationship with God is very important because it allows you to have two choices in life, obey God or disobey him. If your relationship with God is so important you know you will obey him and all his commandments but if it’s not so important and you are still lukewarm and stuck in the world it will be hard to obey him so you end up disobeying him in the end and suffering the consequences. Coming from my own experience because I am not perfect by no means I suffered from my consequences when I drifted from God and went back to being lukewarm and I can tell you, it is not worth disobeying God at all! It is not worth losing your relationship with God, his blessings, living in our old lives we once decided to leave for a new one , nothing is worth losing when it comes to God… he lead me here to allow me to dwell and think about everything that I had done that was not worth the risk and to try to recover my relationship back with him. Thanking him that no matter what in the good and bad he still is good and I thank him for being so good to me no matter what! For his mercy and grace every day❤️ I want to be like Joshua and Caleb who obeyed God and trusted him with no questions , fully surrounded and walking in obedience. I want my relationship with God to be so strong that nothing can come between us not even the temptations of the world, I don’t want to live outside of God’s will that he has for me I want to live in it. Obedience secures God’s favor and life while disobedience leads to ruin and separation from him.. so remember your everyday life determines how serious your relationship with God is and are you willing to walk in obedience or disobedience? #godisgood #biblejournaling #biblestudy #christian #fypシ
Deuteronomy chapter 28 is a powerful scripture that highlights the consequences of obedience and disobedience in our spiritual lives. This chapter vividly contrasts the blessings that follow from obeying God's commands with the curses that come from turning away from Him. In today's world, these ancient principles still hold great relevance. The OCR content emphasizes that obedience secures God’s favor and life, while disobedience leads to ruin and separation from Him. This universal truth transcends time and culture, reminding us that God’s blessings come when we align our lives with His commandments. The Israelites experienced these blessings when they chose to obey, including victory over enemies and prosperity in their land. Conversely, choosing to disobey led to hardship, exile, and spiritual emptiness. Reflecting on this, many believers today face similar daily choices: to live fully surrendered to God or to be lukewarm and distracted by worldly temptations. As the content shares, lukewarm faith often leads to disobedience and loss of God’s blessings. Yet, God's mercy and grace remain available, inviting us to return and rebuild our relationship with Him no matter how far we have drifted. The examples of Joshua and Caleb are particularly inspiring. Their unwavering trust and obedience exemplify what it means to walk boldly in faith without hesitation. Their story challenges us to foster a strong relationship with God—one that is resilient to challenges and rooted deeply in trust and obedience. Living in obedience is not simply about following rules; it is about embracing a loving relationship with God that transforms our hearts and lives. Daily decisions to obey God’s word help us experience His favor, protection, and peace. On the other hand, choosing disobedience can bring separation from God and spiritual decay, as cautioned in Deuteronomy 28. This chapter also serves as a reminder that our identity and destiny are linked to how seriously we pursue obedience. Like the Israelites, we have the choice to either live under God's blessings or face the consequences of turning away. This ongoing spiritual journey calls for reflection, repentance, and a deep commitment to walk in God’s way. In summary, Deuteronomy 28 encourages believers to evaluate their relationship with God and choose obedience wholeheartedly. It reassures us that God's goodness, mercy, and grace surround those who earnestly seek Him. May your faith journey be marked by trust and obedience, securing God’s favor and abundant life, just as promised in this timeless scripture.
