B.C. ostrich farmers, a mother and daughter team, were arrested and later released as CFIA moves to cull their ostrich flock over avian flu concerns.
Katie Pasitney, whose mother co-owns Universal Ostrich Farms, says they're now hoping for a miracle.
so very happy you got your miracle🕊 thank God, their lawyers, the indigenous (who stepped up & helped provide the court's stay) & everyone that helped to save those ostriches!!! they are so precious & beautiful--no farmer should have to go through this! They are loved by the owners and now the world❤️ rcmp and cfia should've left you alone after 250 days without another incident. rcmp...aren't there currently missing children, human/drug traffickers and the rampant criminals running amuck that should be your focus over a bird cull? the cfia should've also tested the birds to confirm they're health before such a cull threat... 69 d*ed but 400 lived & they are very special with natural immunity, they can really help mankind.❤️ this is the real reason ...the govt won't be able to fear monger Canadians with the j*b or continue to take our rights away or even to defend our selves in home invasions...be careful fellow Canadians, stay strong🇨🇦💪

I don’t understand how can they come in and call your ostriches for what reason? How do they have the gall to do that? Fight ladies fight. I know we Canadians and we don’t usually fight with people but come on this is something to fight for…🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 love from Ontario
