While the original post might just hint at the zombie problem, let's talk about something truly epic for those nocturnal masterpieces: Deepslate Bricks! Seriously, they've become my go-to for adding that dark, mysterious, and super sturdy vibe to my builds. I’ve seen so many questions about how to get them and what to do with them, so let me share my experience. Deepslate bricks are a fantastic building block in Minecraft, known for their dark, sophisticated texture. They're perfect for creating imposing castles, underground bases, or even stylish cityscapes. Unlike regular stone, deepslate has a grittier, more ancient feel, making it ideal for structures that need to look substantial and a bit foreboding. I love using them for Minecraft night builds because they just blend so well with the shadows! First things first, you need to find deepslate. This dark, rocky block generates deep underground, usually below Y-level 0, in the Deep Dark biome or just generally in the deep layers of caves. You’ll need a pickaxe (preferably iron or better) with Silk Touch if you want to mine the Deepslate block directly. Otherwise, you'll get Cobbled Deepslate which is still useful, but requires an extra step. So, how do you make deepslate bricks? It’s pretty straightforward once you have the raw material: Cobbled Deepslate: If you mined regular deepslate without Silk Touch, you get cobbled deepslate. You can also smelt regular deepslate in a furnace to get Deepslate. Polished Deepslate: Take four cobbled deepslate blocks to your crafting table and arrange them in a 2x2 square to get polished deepslate. This block has a smoother, more refined look. Deepslate Bricks: Now, take four polished deepslate blocks and arrange them in a 2x2 square in your crafting grid. Voila! You have deepslate bricks! Chiseled Deepslate: For an even fancier touch, you can craft chiseled deepslate. Just place two deepslate brick slabs (which you get from three deepslate bricks in a row) vertically on top of each other in a crafting grid. This one looks amazing for decorative accents, almost like chiseled rock but darker! Other forms: Don't forget you can also craft deepslate brick slabs, deepslate brick stairs, and deepslate brick walls from deepslate bricks for even more building versatility. I often use slabs for flooring or ceiling details and stairs for roofs or architectural flair. The possibilities are endless! I've seen amazing minecraft deepslate builds ranging from grand castles to intricate underground tunnel systems. One of my personal projects involved building a gothic-style deepslate bridge minecraft over a ravine, and the deepslate pillars holding it up looked incredibly imposing.
