Fun fact: my husband and i dated in HS then went our own ways. I wasn’t ready to get married 😆 we went no contact and 7 years later life brought us back together.

He was in a solo tour in South Korea, so we decided to reconnect in Japan (we always wanted to travel the world). I visited Korea a few times and when he got back we got married in Mexico 🇲🇽 🤍

After a seven-year hiatus, reconnecting with a past love can lead to incredible new beginnings. Our journey from high school sweethearts to a married couple decorating a barndominium exemplifies a love story intertwined with travel. With experiences ranging from solo tours to destination weddings, we found common ground in our shared interests and dreams of a simpler life. Building a barndo not only symbolizes our love but also allows us to blend modern comforts with rustic living in Texas. The barndominium trend continues to rise due to its rustic aesthetics and functional space, offering a unique blend of traditional farmhouse style and modern amenities. This blend creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for family gatherings, relaxation, and creativity. As we navigate through the intricacies of homebuilding, we discover not just the physical space but also the deeper connection that each step brings to our relationship and family.
