how do we capture your most candid moments? 📷✨

this post is dedicated to all the camera-shy couples !! let's just say......we SEE you and we FEEL you 😭😭 we understand that having a camera pointed at you can feel really pressurizing, which is why we adopted an approach that helps you feel safe and comfortable to just be yourselves 🥹

this is how we go about it:

1️⃣ we WANT to get to know you

before anything else, we’ll hop on a casual intro call to learn about you as a couple. we want to know who you are, your routines, quirks, and what makes your love story uniquely you 🫶🏼

2️⃣ we customise a theme centred around YOU

this is where we begin the ideation process !! together, we’ll brainstorm and settle on a theme that accurately reflects your personalities, your love, and the special little moments that define you ✨

3️⃣ we EASE into your routine

rest assured, all you have to do on the day of the shoot is to simply show up and be yourselves 🙌🏼 our goal is to quietly capture your genuine interactions and natural moments as they unfold throughout the duration of the shoot ❤️

4️⃣ just a sprinkle of meaningful prompts

occasionally, we'll gently guide you along with meaningful prompts. we might ask you to reminisce about your first date or a moment that made you laugh. these conversations usually lead to the best, most candid reactions 🥹🥹

we hope this gives you a better idea of what working with us feels like!! if you have any questions (or if you just want to say hi 👋🏼), our DMs are always open ✨

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, the key to candid photography is trust and comfort. When I recently worked with a couple who were initially nervous about being on camera, we started with a simple video call to chat about their story and hobbies. This helped them relax and express themselves naturally on the shoot day. During the session, allowing couples to engage in their favorite activities or simply interact helped the moments flow effortlessly. The photographer's unobtrusive presence made all the difference—helping capture those spontaneous smiles and loving glances. It’s also beneficial to incorporate small prompts now and then. For instance, asking about a memorable date or a funny shared moment sparks genuine reactions that make photos truly special. I’ve found this approach transforms a typical photoshoot into a heartfelt storytelling session. Using this candid, documentary-style method ensures every couple’s unique love story is beautifully told without any pressure or forced posing. It’s proof that when you feel safe and comfortable, the most stunning moments naturally unfold.
