UMe Tea
2024/1/10 Edited to

... Read moreOkay, so you saw my initial post about Ume Tea Chicago and how absolutely adorable it is, but I just had to dive deeper because this place truly deserves all the hype! If you're searching for the ultimate 'cute milk tea shop design' in Chicago, look no further. This isn't just any bubble tea spot; it's a whole experience, especially if you love aesthetics and fantastic drinks. First off, let's talk about the vibe. From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in this super dreamy, pink-themed wonderland. Seriously, every corner is a photo opportunity! You'll spot their iconic neon signs, like the 'Ume Tea' sign above the furry wall displaying all sorts of cute plush toys, and another one that reads 'It's all about U&Me' – how sweet is that? I also loved the cool bunny logo on the neon sign, giving it such a distinctive feel. During my visit, they even had a wonderfully decorated Christmas tree, adding to the festive and cozy atmosphere. The metallic seating sculpture is also such a unique touch for chilling out with your drink. It's clear a lot of thought went into making this place a feast for the eyes, perfectly hitting that 'bubble tea decorations' sweet spot. But it's not just about the looks! Ume Tea Chicago, located conveniently in Chinatown, truly delivers on the drinks. They boast a huge variety of options, from classic milk teas with those perfectly chewy sago pearls (for those who search 'sago near me'!) to refreshing fruit teas. I’m always on the lookout for a spot that does both taste and aesthetics right, and Ume Tea totally nails it. And here’s the best part, the absolute highlight for me: the surprise plush toy in your cup! I got this adorable little blue and white penguin plush with a bow tie – it was such a delightful bonus. It’s these little details that make Ume Tea unforgettable and really sets it apart from other 'chicago bubble tea' spots. It makes the whole experience feel like a fun treasure hunt. For anyone specifically looking for a 'red bubble tea cafe' vibe, while Ume Tea is predominantly pink, its vibrant and trendy decor absolutely captures that energetic, themed café feel. It's definitely a trendy spot, perfect for catching up with friends or just treating yourself. If you're exploring the Chicago bubble tea scene beyond Ume Tea, remember that places like this show how much creativity goes into crafting memorable spaces. Whether you're in Chinatown or looking for the "bubblelicious bubble tea millennium park location" (which is a different spot but highlights the city's diverse boba offerings), always keep an eye out for unique decor and special touches like these. Ume Tea Chicago truly offers a unique and super cute spot for your next bubble tea fix, making it a 9/10 recommendation from me!
