輪ゴムの面白い使い方って「ネタ」っぽく見えるけど、実際やってみると“地味に効く”ものが多いです。私が特に「大惨事になる前に助かった…」と思った追加ワザをいくつか紹介します。どれも家にある輪ゴムでOK、すぐ真似できて簡単にできちゃう系です。 1) フタが固い瓶・調味料の開封に ジャム瓶やはちみつのフタが固いとき、輪ゴムをフタの外周に1〜2本巻くと滑り止めになります。ゴムが“ここが抑えられて”グリップ力が上がるので、手が痛くなりにくいのが良かったです。濡れた手でも回しやすくなりました。 2) まな板の下に敷いてズレ防止 薄いまな板って切ってる最中にズレがち。輪ゴムを2〜4本、まな板の四隅付近に引っ掛けておくと滑り止めになります（輪ゴムがテーブルに接地するイメージ）。切るときのヒヤッが減って、地味に安心です。 3) ハサミの目印（家族で共有するときに便利） 家にハサミが何本もあると「布用どれだっけ？」ってなります。持ち手に色違いの輪ゴムを巻いて用途を分けると迷いません。油性ペンより剥がせて、気分で変えられるのも◎。 4) コード類をまとめて“迷子”防止 スマホ充電ケーブルや延長コードは、使ったあとにくるっと巻いて輪ゴムで留めるだけ。引き出しの中が絡まらなくなります。結束バンドよりサッと外せるので、私には輪ゴムの方が合ってました。 5) ゴミ袋・レジ袋の口を仮留め 生ゴミの一時置きで「ニオイが…」ってとき、袋の口をねじって輪ゴムで留めると拡散しにくいです。完全密閉ではないけど、捨てるまでの“つなぎ”として便利でした。 6) ふきん・手袋以外にも「吊るす場所」を作る 蛇口に引っ掛けるワザが刺さった人は、S字フックの代わりに輪ゴム＋クリップで“即席フック”もおすすめ。キッチンで置く場所困ってるもの（軽いブラシ、ミニ計量スプーンなど）を一時的に浮かせられて、乾きやすいです。 注意点も少しだけ：輪ゴムは劣化すると切れやすいので、熱い鍋の近く・直射日光の場所は避けるのが安心。食材に直接触れる用途は、清潔な輪ゴムを使って早めに交換しています。 輪ゴムの面白い使い方は、やってみて初めて「れは天才…」ってなるタイプが多いので、気になったものから1個だけでも試してみてください。
