reaction felt stronger than reflection,
and destruction felt justified when it was aimed at “them.”
So when a figure stepped into the chaos,
we called him the cause—
instead of facing the system that made him possible.
This isn’t about Trump.
It’s not about left or right.
It’s about the trust we lost in each other,
in systems,
and in ourselves.
You don’t heal a culture by burning it down.
You heal it by exposing the current that fuels it.
