Turned in my FAFSA 😭
As many of you know mostly the students that have undocumented parents. It’s been a nightmare to fill in the FAFSA form and to do the corrections.
At first I was having trouble verifying my dad’s account cuz it was a lot of people that were calling to verify also verify their parents accounts or to ask questions about the form for this year.
My dad’s account was finally verified but I made the mistake to answer the question of the subsidized loan and then this messed my FAFSA up.
I’ve waited for the corrections and I would invite my dad he would get the email of the invite and he wouldn’t be able to see the invite in his account so we would be stressing until the newest update we were finally able to see the invite 😭
We filled everything out and if your parents filed their taxes as married and jointed you would have to put in your other parents information as an invite. I’m not sure why but I put my mom’s info in and it lets my dad sign and submit his part of the FAFSA form. When I finished my form it didn’t ask anything about the second parent for me so I was able to sign and submit also FINALLY 🎉🎉#fafsa #students #parents #school #college #university #uni
