Good morning Friend,
This past week had so many highs and lows! As I look back over it to see the part I played in everything I came to the conclusion that I should have stayed silent instead of speaking in most of the situations I encountered!
💜Friend if your like me when your right about something and know it you listen long enough to react not respond! This way of thinking will break relationships and friendships.
💜I am very lucky to have a husband that loves me enough to look past my need to be right. Don’t get me wrong we both have our flaws he’s better at hiding his than I am lol! We are both learning how to love each other through our childhood traumas, and it’s hard work friend!
💜Teaching your children how to respect others and responsibility is challenging in today’s world because kids are so self centered! And it’s harder if you and your spouse have different parenting styles!!! The best thing you can do is give them Jesus! We are reminded daily that without him we can do NOTHING!
🛑✋Stop bad mouthing your kids, stop telling people they are just so bad I can’t handle them, stop saying she/he just like…, stop saying your gonna end up dead, stop saying you are done, stop giving things to the Lord and taking them back, JUST STOP✋🛑
🚨🚨There is so much power in what we say sometimes we create our own problems by the words we speak! But today is a new day, don’t be afraid to apologize to your kid(s) because that is key! They learn what forgiveness looks like and also how to go about getting it!!!! When you are in the thick of it STOP AND GO PRAY! It helps friend because these fights we fight were never meant for us to fight alone, Jesus is there at our weakest point and is waiting for us to call on him@🚨🚨🚨
The power of words is immense, as highlighted in Proverbs 18:21, which states that the tongue has the power of life and death. This biblical wisdom reminds us that our speech shapes reality. In relationships, words can heal or hurt, influencing how we connect with those around us. Learning to pause, practice active listening, and respond thoughtfully instead of reacting hastily fosters deeper connections and understanding. Furthermore, teaching children about respectful communication is crucial. In a world where instant gratification and entitlement often overshadow basic etiquette, instilling values of empathy and responsibility through example becomes more important than ever. Emphasizing the importance of seeking forgiveness and understanding in familial dynamics leads to a healthier environment. In challenging situations, prayer can provide strength and clarity. By inviting higher guidance into our struggles, we can better navigate conflicts and strengthen our bonds with loved ones. Ultimately, recognizing the influence of our words is the first step towards creating a more loving and supportive atmosphere, both at home and in our communities.
