MY BIRTH STORY / the c-section of my dreams ✨

A c-section was not my first option for the delivery of my baby. However, he was in breech position and I had no choice. But let me tell you, it was the best experience I could I ever imagined! We had a planned c-section at 7 am on a Tuesday morning. We arrived at 5:30 am to prep for surgery. Everything went very smooth, from the lab work and ultra sound, and we were in the OR room in no time. From the moment we stepped into the OR, 30 minutes later I got to meet my baby boy. I couldn’t believe how fast the whole process went. The recovery was so quick, I was up and walking the same day, and we were on our way home after 48 hours. Other than the local pain of my body, I felt great and quickly regained my strength. After going through this I don’t know how I would be able to go into labor and have a natural birth, but I think I would still want to try in the future. What are the chances I have another breech baby? How was your c-section experience? Please share ♥️

This was my second pregnancy, and my doctor let me get to 41 weeks! I tried to have her naturally but my body wouldn’t dilate past 8cm… I ended up having an emergency c section and my doctor said she was stuck in my pelvis and there’s no way she’d be able to come out without surgery. #bigbaby
