Witches of the Willow
Why🌳
I started Witches of the Willow because I needed community and I wanted to learn as much as I could, what better way than to trade knowledge with likeminded individuals.
How I did it! 🗒️
(Get a notebook!)
First, I created a Facebook group, called Idaho Falls Witches of the Willow (Pagan Study Group).
Next, I planned when we’d meet, once a month, and I decided on the day (1st Saturday of every month), but I needed a place meet!
I checked out all the local coffee shops until I found one that met my needs: space enough for a group to meet, good coffee at decent prices, AND (most importantly) asked the manager/owner if they were comfortable with pagans holding spiritual discussions and even practicing divination there.
Once I found the place I wrote a long list of study topics, chose one, and created my event in the Facebook group. And it was started!
You can do the same for your area!

I suggest using Canva to create the event cover photo.
It’s okay if no one shows at first! It’s important that you show up though, for when people do start coming, and they will!
Place a sign on your table indicating where the group is sitting.
Put your location in your Facebook group name.
Use several social media platforms, not everyone is on Facebook!
