Haunted House of Hamburgers ✨
Omg we traveled 2Hrs from the city to experience this restaurant. I think it was worth it.
Food: 7/10
I had shrimp tacos & boneless chicken. The shrimp tacos were really good, but the boneless chicken wasn’t the best. The flavor was supposed to be like ‘Asian chilli’ but it wasn’t giving… and there was no CRUNCH to the wings… sort of taste microwaved.
Vibe: 8/10
Now it depends what vibe you going for… this is like a family vibe. So they weren’t playing music inside and there weren’t any TV’s. So you better talk to the group that you came with.
Drink: 7/10
My drink was pretty good. I had a ‘witch’ something & it was served smokin’ which was really cool. It wasn’t strong, and it was a good amount and a pretty blue color.
Will I return?
Mm.. probably, just for my son to experience it and see the cool decorations.
Okay, so after my first visit to Haunted House of Hamburgers in Long Island, I've been thinking a lot about what makes this place truly special, especially if you're planning a trip! Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere is really the star here. You walk in, and it's like stepping onto a movie set – think classic horror, but done in a fun, family-friendly way. I saw so many cool decorations, from spooky cobwebs to ghoulish figures that really bring the 'haunted' theme to life. It's not overly scary, which is perfect for kids; my son would absolutely love seeing all the details. In fact, if you hear something that sounds like 'Jason's theme song playing' in the background, you know you're in for a treat! It truly adds to the immersive experience without being too intense. If you're looking for a restaurant with a unique twist, this is it. It’s less about a quiet dinner and more about an experience, almost like a mini Halloween attraction you can dine in. I'd definitely recommend checking out their different themed areas – each one has its own charm. And a little tip: if you're going with family, embrace the photo opportunities! The decor makes for some really fun, memorable snapshots. It’s definitely a place where you'll want to take your time and soak in all the spooky details. Don't forget to ask about their seasonal specials, as I bet they lean even further into the haunted theme during holidays! It's clear that a lot of effort went into making the ambiance unique, and that's a big part of why I'm considering a return visit. For anyone wondering about parking, it was fairly easy to find, which is always a bonus when you're traveling a bit of a distance. This spot is truly an escape from the ordinary, perfect for making some fun new memories!
