Mom icks I have as someone who doesn't have kids
No, I don't have kids. I want kids whether throught adopted or actually giving birth. I say "my kid/baby" for future reference.
1. When people say anything about babies being a flirt or they are going to grow into a heartbreak.
Babies can't flirt with you. They are just doing what babies do in their lives at this age. I also can not stand when someone says that my baby will be a heartbreaker. I don't know about you but I want to teach my kids that feelings matter and kindness is something that you should try and give as much as possible. I don't want my kids to do the opposite of what I want to teach.
2. Calling my child "my baby"
I don't understand why other people want to call my baby "theirs". Yes I understand that they don't think it is their actual kid, but to me that is something that I don't enjoy hearing from someone else about my kids (unless it is my partner)
3. " Wait until the toddler stage"
Yes I will wait. I want to get as many moments with my baby as much as possible while they are younger. I also know for a fact that those people are the same people that say the same thing about the teenage years. A kid will have bad moments and I get that, but that is sometimes the way kids try and express something and other times it is just human nature.
4. The types of clothing made for babies or toddlers.
Why would I want my baby to wear something that says "I'm single" "ladies watch out, I might take your man" "mommy/daddy's little heartbreaker". Babies should not be wearing something that is sexualizing them at little kids.
5. " Save her/him for me"
UMM WHAT?! Please never say that. you are full on saying that you are into my kid like that? You are a grown adult, so act like it (more woman say this then men.so not saying men say this) And by the time that they are an adult or of the age that I would be ok with my kids having a relationship, is the time that you are now probably older than 40.
