A Great Start to 2026 — I PASSED MY CLASS 2A! 🎉

A great start to 2026 — I PASSED MY CLASS 2A! 🎉

Didn’t come easy though.

Passed on my 3rd TP attempt. Yes, third. Almost became a CDC permanent resident.

Those who’ve been through it will understand the trauma:

🔔 Waking up at 5.30am

🚗 Reaching CDC by 6.45am

🤸‍♂️ Warm-up that feels more stressful than the test itself

💔 Ending the day before lunch with a big fat “FAIL”

On the morning of my 3rd TP, I had a serious heart-to-heart with myself:

“If I fail again… I’ll just accept my fate and ride my 2B little lamb forever.”

Apparently the universe heard me, because… I PASSED.

With exactly 18 points.

ONE MORE POINT and I’d still be baa-baa-ing on my lamb bike 🐑😂

Talk about a close shave.

To reward my determination (and trauma), I bought myself a new helmet 😆🪖

Retail therapy works.

Next up? Like every other newly-minted 2A rider… Class 2 is calling 📞

But for now, I’ll rest, recover, and enjoy riding without cones haunting my dreams.

CDC, I’ll be back…

When the mood comes. 😌🫶🏼

Stay tuned.

... Read moreIf you're attempting to upgrade your motorcycle license in Singapore or Malaysia, especially moving from B2 to Class 2A for motorcycles between 201cc and 400cc, understanding the test process and routes is crucial for success. Many riders find the Class 2A TP test at CDC particularly challenging, so preparation goes beyond just riding skills. I personally found that familiarizing myself with the CDC 2A test route helped reduce anxiety and improved my confidence on test day. Watching tutorial videos of the test route can also mentally prepare you for the sequence and tricky maneuvers. Failing a few times, like I did, can be disheartening. However, recognizing the importance of patience and persistence is key. Setbacks don’t mean the end; they’re part of the learning curve. Keeping a positive mindset and setting realistic goals for improvement helped me a lot. Additionally, investing in good gear, like a comfortable helmet, not only rewards your determination but ensures safety and focus during practice and tests. If you can't pass the test to upgrade from B2 to A1 or 2A, consider taking additional lessons from certified instructors who can provide targeted feedback to correct mistakes. Remember, each test experience builds your skills for the next. Celebrate small victories along the way, and don’t rush the process. Riding without the stress of cones haunting your dreams is a fantastic reward in itself.

Learning to drive at 24
Always wanted to learn how to drive but have been putting it off since it was expensive/hard to book and I heard of my friends failing quite a few times… plus my family didn’t have a car so to me it was like what’s the point of learning? And I also think that I might not be that talented at driving
