Chengdu Panda Valley 🐼

Visited Panda Valley and really enjoyed the experience.

The environment is very nice for walking — peaceful, spacious and surrounded by greenery. We saw quite a number of pandas, including red pandas, which was a highlight.

The pathways are well-maintained and suitable for prams and wheelchairs, making it very accessible for families. Toilets were also clean and easy to find around the park.

Another big plus is that it’s less crowded compared to other panda attractions, so you can take your time to enjoy and observe the pandas without feeling rushed 🐼🎋

We came early in the morning and the crowd wasn't too bad, there's no need to queue to see the pandas at all. After visiting the panda valley, we hopped on a didi to the nearby 仰天广场 to take photo with the huge selfie panda.

Overall, i feel it's a great place to visit if you want a more relaxed and comfortable panda-viewing experience.

You can pre-book your entry tickets on the Trip app. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, don’t forget to sign up using code VU17FG to enjoy a welcome pack worth $68!

... Read moreFrom my visit to Panda Valley, I found it to be a refreshing alternative to the more crowded famous panda bases. The park is designed to be very accommodating, with well-maintained pathways that make it easy for visitors with strollers or wheelchairs to enjoy the experience comfortably. This accessibility really sets it apart as a family-friendly destination. The tranquil atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery allows for a more intimate connection with the pandas, including rare red pandas, which was a delightful surprise. Unlike larger panda bases where crowd control can limit viewing time, Panda Valley’s smaller crowds let you observe the animals at your own pace. One notable feature is the strict "Do Not Feed the Animals" policy, clearly displayed around the park to protect the wildlife. The presence of a small temple inside adds a cultural touch, enhancing the overall peaceful environment. I also appreciated the convenience of clean, easy-to-find toilets throughout the park, which made the visit hassle-free. For those planning their visit, arriving early is key to avoiding queues and enjoying a calm morning walk. After exploring Panda Valley, I took a short ride to 仰天广场, a nearby plaza featuring a huge selfie panda statue that's perfect for memorable photos. This makes Panda Valley not only a wildlife attraction but also part of a broader cultural and leisure experience in Chengdu. For ticket bookings, the Trip app is a reliable platform offering pre-booked entries with the added benefit of a welcome pack. Remember to use promotional codes for discounts on your visit. Overall, Panda Valley provides a uniquely relaxed and accessible panda-viewing experience that contrasts nicely with the bustling popular bases. It’s ideal for travelers seeking a serene day out surrounded by nature and adorable wildlife.

都江堰一日游 Guanxian Ancient Town in Chengdu
