things no one told me about moving out!

A list of things I wish someone sat me down and told me about before moving out:

- cooking is exhausting, and being on your own means you have to cook every single meal for yourself (unless you can afford take out!)

- a budget is your best friend... groceries are so expensive

- you have to kill your own bugs!!!!!! (I wasn't prepared for this)

- So. Many. Chores. Develop a routine, it'll help!!

I think I was more prepared for the emotional aspect of moving and didn't fully think about the physical tasks at hand.

I feel 100% about the groceries and cooking every day. The one thing and probably the only thing I’m thankful for when I was living at my dad, very toxic home environment was his wife would return from her corporate job at 530-6 and immediately start making dinner for the family. I don’t know how she did it almost every night.
