𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠
Reading this, the mind may imagine there is an Aaron over here who wrote it, and a separate someone over there who is reading it.
Then the mind begins its work.
It likes it.
It dislikes it.
It agrees.
It resists.
It feels seen.
It feels challenged.
It calls the words beautiful, strange, arrogant, true, confusing, helpful, threatening, or useless.
And all of that depends on the shape of identification moving through the mind.
The post lands according to what has been attached to.
If identity is attached to belief, the words are filtered through belief.
If identity is attached to pain, the words are filtered through pain.
If identity is attached to being right, the words are filtered through defense.
If identity is softening, the words may pass through like wind through an open window.
This is why the same sentence can feel like medicine to one person and an insult to another.
The words are simple.
The filter creates the world.
And deeper than the filter, something quiet is aware of the whole movement.
Aware of the words.
Aware of the reaction.
Aware of the liking.
Aware of the resistance.
Aware of the one called writer.
Aware of the one called reader.
That awareness has never been divided by the names appearing inside it.
Aaron is an appearance.
Reader is an appearance.
Agreement is an appearance.
Resistance is an appearance.
The whole exchange is one field of awareness, rising as thought, language, body, memory, feeling, and meaning.
When this is seen, the need to defend the separate position begins to soften.
The post is simply appearing.
The response is simply appearing.
Life is speaking to itself through every face, every mind, every reaction, every silence.
There is only one looking.
One awareness wearing every viewpoint.
One light shining through every window.
One Self meeting itself as the appearance of another.
And in that seeing, the whole argument of separation begins to dissolve.
There is no other.
There is only this.
