High Protein Cucumber Snack

Really easy way to enjoy cucumbers. I’m trying to eat more veggies and whole foods. Here’s a quick snack idea I made today!

Ingredients:

• cottage cheese

• cucumber

• siracha

• lime juice

• soy sauce

• everything bagel seasoning

Directions:

1. Chop cucumber into small pieces. Place in a bowl

2. Cover with cottage cheese

3. Top with siracha, a little lime juice, soy sauce, and everything bagel seasoning. Mix and enjoy!

First off, the cottage cheese is a superstar. It's packed with protein, which is key for keeping you feeling full and energized for longer. No more mid-afternoon energy slumps! Plus, it's a great source of calcium and other essential nutrients. Pairing it with crisp, refreshing cucumber not only adds a wonderful crunch but also provides much-needed hydration and a boost of vitamins. It’s like a mini spa for your insides! But let's be real, a good snack needs flavor, and that's where the magic happens. While the original recipe with sriracha, lime juice, soy sauce, and everything bagel seasoning is absolutely delicious, I've had so much fun experimenting with variations. Sometimes, I swap the sriracha for a milder sweet chili sauce if I'm not in the mood for too much heat. Or, if I want a more Mediterranean vibe, a sprinkle of dried dill and a drizzle of olive oil can transform it completely. Don't be afraid to play around with your favorite spices – a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra zing, or some garlic powder for a savory kick, can make a huge difference!
