Holiday crack season is HERE and I brought the most addicting one of them all 😭❤️🎄

This Christmas Crack is sweet, salty, buttery, crunchy, festive… and honestly? The pan never survives more than 24 hours in my house. It’s THAT good.

Ingredients

• Saltine crackers: 40–50 (enough to fully line a baking sheet)

• Unsalted butter: 1 cup (2 sticks)

• Brown sugar: 1 cup, packed

• Chocolate layer options:

• Classic: 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

• White Christmas version: 12 oz white chocolate chips or vanilla melting wafers

• Festive toppings: Christmas sprinkles, crushed candy canes, mini M&Ms, etc.

⭐ Instructions

1. Prep your pan

• Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).

• Line a large baking sheet with foil and parchment paper (this makes cleanup easy). Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer, covering the whole tray.

2. Make the toffee

•In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar. Once melted, bring to a rolling boil and cook for 3 minutes without stirring. Immediately pour the hot toffee over the crackers, spreading gently with a spatula.

3. Bake

•Bake the tray for 5 minutes. The toffee will bubble — that’s what you want!

4. Add the chocolate

•Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Let them melt for about 2–3 minutes, then spread into an even layer. Add sprinkles or any festive toppings while the chocolate is still soft.

5. Chill

•Refrigerate for 1–2 hours or freeze for 20–30 minutes until fully set.

6. Break into pieces

•Lift the parchment, crack into pieces, and enjoy your new Christmas obsession 🎄✨
