How losing 87 pounds improved my life

Of course I felt better in my own skin but that wasn’t all. Doing the things I said I was going to do gave me a huge boost of confidence. I didn’t quit when it got hard. I didn’t quit when I felt stuck. I kept pushing. I kept moving forward even if it was only baby steps.

Crushing such a big goal gave me the boost of confidence I needed to improve other areas of my life. I now had more energy. I now felt great. I now knew that achieving hard things were possible even if they took take!!

I had a new confidence that lead me to learning new skills and improving our financial situation. I was out of that mental fog. I was out of a rut.

Losing the weight and focusing on your health improve so much more than what you see in the mirror. It’s so worth it.

If you’re having a hard time starting your journey or finding something that sticks then I know how you feel. I feel like I spend my entire 20s “dieting”. Those days are gone.

I’ve learned so much since I started my health and wellness journey in July of 2022 so I put it all together for you on a en ebook since I get a lot of the same questions. The ebook saves you a lot of time and frustration. After years I realized that no fad diet was going to stick. You have to be realistic with yourself.

If you want a 1 stop shop guide on how to begin your journey, how to focus on protein and why it’s important when dropping weight, how to meal prep and not be miserable eating just grass 👀then you’ll love this. Not only do I have my favorite recipes that have been on rotation for years now but I recorded a bunch of videos talking to you like a friend. I don’t want you to have to read a novel so I made videos for you! It’ll be like 2 friends on facetime.

No more saying NEXT SUMMER!!!!!! Last year you said this would be your year! Own it!!

... Read moreWhen I first started my journey, one of the biggest motivators was seeing what a significant weight loss could really look like. I know many of you might be wondering, 'what does 87 pounds look like?' And trust me, it's more than just a number on the scale or a change in your reflection. For me, losing 87 pounds felt like shedding a heavy backpack I’d been carrying for years, literally and figuratively. Physically, the changes were profound. My clothes went from a tight size 18/20 to a comfortable 10/12. I remember the sheer joy of walking into a regular store and finding clothes that fit well, rather than having to search in specialty sections. My face thinned out, my collarbones became visible, and my entire silhouette transformed. But it wasn't just about aesthetics. My knees stopped aching after a short walk, and climbing a flight of stairs no longer left me breathless. I could play with my nieces and nephews without getting tired quickly, and even simple tasks like bending down to tie my shoes became effortless. It truly felt like my body was finally moving the way it was designed to. Beyond the visible changes, losing 87 pounds made a huge impact on my energy levels. I used to wake up feeling sluggish, and by afternoon, a nap was often calling my name. Now, I have sustained energy throughout the day, which allows me to be more present for my family and pursue hobbies I’d put on hold. This renewed vitality, combined with the physical transformation, played a massive role in boosting my confidence – just as the article mentions, 'Committing to My health Improved every aspect of my life.' To give you a better idea, 87 pounds is roughly equivalent to carrying a large bag of cement or about 87 one-pound bags of sugar! Imagine that weight being lifted from your frame. It's a significant amount, and the impact it has on your joints, heart, and overall well-being is immense. While everyone's journey and body type are unique, a loss of this magnitude typically results in noticeable changes in body shape, reduced body fat percentage, and often a dramatic improvement in health markers. What it looks like is not just a smaller body, but a person with more zest for life, fewer physical limitations, and a renewed sense of self-worth. It looks like someone who can chase their dreams without their body holding them back. If you're contemplating a similar journey, remember that the transformation extends far beyond what you see in the mirror. It's about gaining a healthier, more vibrant life, and discovering capabilities you might have forgotten you had.
