... Read moreThe ongoing crisis of kidnappings affecting children and teachers in Nigeria has deeply impacted communities and families across the nation. Every day, countless children who should be in classrooms learning and growing find themselves caught in tragic circumstances beyond their control. As someone who has followed this heartbreaking issue closely, I can share that raising awareness is just the first step. Advocacy and sustained pressure on authorities, alongside community engagement, are critical to secure the safe return of these innocent victims. What struck me the most is how these kidnappings not only threaten individual lives but also destabilize entire educational systems, making the future of Nigeria's youth uncertain. Keywords from the advocacy movement such as "Bring Back Our Children," "Bring Back Our Teachers," and "End Kidnappings Now" echo the urgent plea of countless voices longing for justice and safety. Communities have rallied together, using social media platforms and organized events to tag the right officials and demand action. The involvement of conveners and grassroots organizations amplifies the message and demonstrates solidarity. Personally, following these efforts showed me the power of collective voice and how vital it is for each of us to keep speaking up until every kidnapped child and teacher is home safe. Additionally, recognizing the role of defense and security agencies is important. Words that appear in supporting visuals, like "DEFENCE" and fragments resembling "CYREN" and "EERS," highlight the call for increased protection measures and cooperation between security forces and civil society. For those moved by this cause, participating in conversations, sharing verified information, and supporting reputable initiatives are ways to contribute meaningfully. It's a challenging path, but united voices and actions can lead to tangible change. Children are indeed our future, and ensuring their safety, alongside that of their educators, must remain a priority for every concerned individual and institution.

In my previous post, I shared that I use Apple’s spoken voice feature to read my notes and pdfs for studying on my #ipadpro . Turns out, we can also record our own voices if we don’t like the defaults that Apple have. I’m using the Nathan enhanced voice but I definitely want to test out my own voi
