I went on more but forgot to take videos lol
Okay, so I just got back from an epic day at Busch Gardens Tampa, and wow, what an experience! I always try to hit up as many rides as possible, but this time I made sure to get some solid opinions on the park's biggest thrills. If you're planning a trip and wondering which coasters are truly worth your time, buckle up, because I'm sharing my unfiltered thoughts and ratings! First up, let's talk about the legend: Iron Gwazi. Seriously, you have to ride this. My rating? A solid 1000/10! I know, I know, that's high, but trust me, it earns it. That first drop is absolutely DISGUSTING – in the best way possible! It's not just steep; it's got this twisted, out-of-control feeling that just rips you out of your seat. As a hybrid coaster, it combines the classic wood structure with modern steel track, giving it an incredibly smooth yet wild ride. The airtime hills after that initial plunge are just relentless, and the turns are so fast you feel like you're defying gravity. If you're searching for 'Busch Gardens Iron Gwazi' reviews, consider this your green light – it's a masterpiece of a coaster. The speed, the airtime, that incredible 'iron gwazi drop' – it’s genuinely unforgettable. Then there's Montu. I gave it an 8.5/10, and here's why: it's a phenomenal inverted coaster, but you absolutely need to be in the front row for the full experience. Being suspended with your feet dangling as you go through seven inversions is exhilarating, but in the front, you get that unobstructed view and feel every twist and turn much more intensely. It's a classic for a reason, and many consider it 'god art' among coasters for its complex layout and sustained G-forces. The trench runs and near-miss elements are fantastic, making you feel like you're flying through an ancient Egyptian ruin. If you appreciate a perfectly choreographed ride that keeps you guessing, Montu delivers. Next up was Sheikra, which clocked in at a fantastic 9.5/10 for me. I mean, who doesn't love a good drop? This dive coaster takes you 200 feet up, dangles you over the edge for a few heart-stopping seconds, and then plummets you straight down at 70 mph. The sensation is pure adrenaline! It’s a definite must-do for anyone who loves that free-fall feeling. Cheetah Hunt came in at a 7/10. Honestly, I expected a bit more from it. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun ride with multiple launches and a smooth, flowing layout, but it just didn't have the same punch as Iron Gwazi or Sheikra for me. Plus, it tends to have the longest wait time, which can be a bummer if you're trying to hit everything. It's still a great ride for families or those who want a thrill without extreme inversions. Finally, the Serengeti Flyer got an 8/10. It’s a giant swing ride that reminds me a lot of something you'd find at a really good fair, but on a much grander scale. You soar high above the Serengeti Plain, getting incredible views of the park and the animal enclosures. It’s less about intense G-forces and more about that 'floating through the air' sensation. It’s such a unique experience and a great way to cool down after the bigger coasters. Overall, my day at Busch Gardens was packed with thrills! While I wish I’d remembered to take more videos of all the rides, I'm glad I got to share my quick takes. Definitely prioritize Iron Gwazi and Sheikra if you love big drops, and make sure to grab that front row on Montu. Every ride offers something different, but these are truly the standouts. Happy riding!
