Three Things to Remember on the Hard Days ✨

There are some days that sneak up on you with heaviness.

Not in a loud or dramatic way… but in that quiet, aching kind of way.

The kind where your body feels like it’s underwater.

The kind where you open your eyes and already feel like you’ve failed before the day even starts.

This was one of those days.

I had things to do. Responsibilities. Goals. A list that didn’t care how I felt.

But my heart felt so distant from everything.

I remember lying in bed, feeling like getting up would be pretending. Pretending I was okay. Pretending I had energy. Pretending I had clarity.

But eventually—I moved. Not because I felt strong, but because I decided to be gentle.

I got up slowly. I made matcha. I sat in silence. I prayed. I cried.

And that day became the inspiration for my first YouTube video.

Not because it was perfect—but because it was real.

If you’re reading this and today feels heavy… please give yourself grace.

• Grace that you’re a human being, not a machine.

• Grace that your worth isn’t measured by how productive you are today.

• Grace that healing doesn’t always look like blooming—it sometimes looks like resting.

• Grace that feeling tired, confused, or unmotivated doesn’t make you weak.

• Grace that even not feeling like yourself is part of the journey back to you.

3 things I try to remember on hard days:

1. Slow movement is still movement.

You don’t have to leap—just roll over, sip water, light a candle, make your bed. Start softly.

2. Faith is allowed to coexist with exhaustion.

Even if your prayers feel half-hearted, even if you don’t have the energy to say much—your heart is still heard.

3. You don’t owe anyone a polished version of yourself.

The people who truly love you are not looking for perfection. Neither is God. He’s looking for presence. For return.

I hope this post finds someone who needed it.

I hope it gives you permission to slow down and still believe in yourself.

I hope you know you’re not behind—you’re just in a pause. And that’s okay.

I made a video about this day on YouTube if you want to see what it looked like.

It’s not fancy or viral. It’s just soft. Just honest.

And maybe that’s enough.

... Read moreOn hard days, it's essential to remember that moving slowly is still progress. Even small actions like rolling over or taking a sip of water count. Secondly, it's crucial to allow faith to exist alongside feelings of exhaustion; your heart, no matter how tired, is always heard. Finally, let go of the pressure to present a polished image to the world. True connections are based on authenticity, not perfection. It's okay to rest, to pause, and simply be. Allow this understanding to bring you peace on the challenging days. You are human, and your feelings are valid. Lean into those moments of vulnerability, and recognize that they are part of your healing journey. Connect with supportive communities online to further find strength during these times of struggle. Remember, it’s entirely acceptable to take a breather and focus on your well-being. You are enough, just as you are.
