Protein Breakfast!
Come make these cottage cheese breakfast wraps with me! I know not everyone is into cottage cheese but trust me you’ll barely notice the taste in these and they taste so good! Check out the recipe below:
Wrap:
Blend these together
3 large pieces Roasted bell peppers
1 cup of cottage cheese
2 eggs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon of parsley flakes
1 teaspoon of salt
Pepper to taste
Grease your baking tray with parchment paper and grease the parchment paper too! Bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 40 min. Let it cool completely before assembling. You can add any filling you want! I added tofu, sweet potato, spinach, and cilantro dressing. Now you have about 20 grams protein in your breakfast!

Okay, let's talk about cottage cheese! For so long, my go-to quick, high-protein breakfast was simply cottage cheese on toast. It’s a classic for a reason – super easy, satisfying, and a great way to kickstart your metabolism. But sometimes, you want to jazz it up, right? If you're like me and constantly searching for delicious ways to incorporate more protein into your morning routine, cottage cheese on toast is a fantastic starting point. But don't just stop at plain! I've experimented with so many variations to keep things exciting. My Favorite Savory Cottage Cheese Toast Combos: Avocado & Everything Bagel Seasoning: This is a winner! Mash some avocado onto your toast, spread a generous layer of cottage cheese, and then sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning. A pinch of chili flakes adds a nice kick! Tomatoes & Basil: Slice up some fresh cherry tomatoes, arrange them over your cottage cheese, and top with fresh basil leaves, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and a crack of black pepper. Tastes like a mini caprese! Cucumber & Dill: For a refreshing twist, thinly slice cucumber, layer it on top, and sprinkle with fresh dill. A little squeeze of lemon juice makes it even brighter. Smoked Salmon & Capers: Feeling fancy? A few slices of smoked salmon, a dollop of cottage cheese, and a sprinkle of capers and red onion make for a gourmet breakfast in minutes. Sweet Cottage Cheese Toast Delights: Berries & Honey: This is pure comfort. Spread your cottage cheese, then top with fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries are my favorites) and a generous drizzle of honey or maple syrup. A sprinkle of cinnamon is optional but highly recommended! Banana & Peanut Butter: A classic combo that works wonders here. A thin layer of peanut butter on the toast, then cottage cheese, and finally, sliced bananas. A dash of chia seeds adds extra texture and nutrients. Fig & Walnuts: For something a bit more sophisticated, fresh sliced figs with a sprinkle of chopped walnuts and a drizzle of honey is absolutely divine. Beyond just taste, the beauty of cottage cheese on toast is its nutritional punch. It’s an excellent source of casein protein, which digests slowly, keeping you full and energized throughout the morning. Plus, it’s rich in calcium and other essential nutrients. While cottage cheese on toast is a solid option, sometimes I crave something different – something like a Cottage Cheese Breakfast Wrap, which is why I developed my recipe! It takes that same high-protein goodness and transforms it into a completely new, incredibly versatile meal. Think of it as the next level of cottage cheese breakfast creativity. Both offer unique textures and flavors, but both share that common goal: a delicious, protein-packed start to your day. So whether you're sticking to toast or branching out to wraps, cottage cheese is definitely your breakfast bestie!
