When You Need an Easy Comfort Meal 🤎
I seen hamburger pasta on Tik Tok and had to try it… it reminded me of Hamburger Helper but fancier lol. So here’s my version of hamburger pasta 💛❤️ enjoy this tasty dish!
Creamy One-Pot Hamburger Pasta
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz pasta — fusilloni, elbows, shells, or rotini
½ small onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups beef broth or chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream
1½–2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
Salt, to taste
Chopped dill pickles, optional
Directions
1. Brown the beef. Add ground beef and diced onion to a large skillet or pot. Cook over medium-high heat for 5–7 minutes, breaking up the beef as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
2. Season it. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
3. Add the pasta. Pour in 2 cups beef broth and add the uncooked pasta. Stir and bring to a boil.
4. Simmer. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring every few minutes. If the pasta absorbs all the broth before it’s tender, add ¼ cup water or broth at a time.
5. Make it creamy. Once the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has absorbed, turn the heat to low. Stir in ½ cup heavy cream. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
6. Make it cheesy. Turn off the heat and gradually stir in 1½–2 cups cheddar until melted, creamy and saucy.
7. Serve. Taste and adjust the salt, pepper, ketchup or mustard. Top with chopped pickles if you want that cheeseburger-style finish.
