When things feel right
For a year I was drowning in depression r/t my job. I’d wake up in the morning and already start counting til it was time for me to head back to work. Gained 45lbs and hated who I was. I pretended everything was okay but, it was a lie.
Finally finding the balls to say F*** this and leave was the best thing I could have done. I’ve always been a mental health advocate for everyone else and I need to be that for myself.
So almost month and a half into the job and I’m hopeful that the nurse in me is recovering. The 45lbs have come off since leaving in April and I finally feel comfortable in my skin. About time.
