7 Things I’ve Done To Become “Her”

1) Perfect Makeup Routine

It may seem like a small thing, but it’s really not. If you’re going to wear make up you better make sure you’re doing it in the most flattering way for yourself. It’s really important to invest in quality makeup that you know is going to go the distance and bring out your best features. Find out what that is for you and lock it in.

2) Workout

I know you have heard it before and you’ll hear it again. But working out really is that important. Even if you’re not doing it to lose weight or gain weight. It’s still important. It makes you feel so good about yourself and you really do glow differently when you work out. You will feel stronger and no matter what you’ll look better one way or another.

3) Supplement Consistently

This is something that I didn’t do for a long time. But recently I have decided to make it more of a staple in my lifestyle. It has made all the difference. Finding out my personal supplement needs and taking the right supplements each day has been a game changer. I recently got my blood work done, and I was able to pinpoint some of the deficiencies that I had. This really helped me to figure out what I needed to take on a daily. I recommend going to your primary care physician and getting a blood panel done.

4) Take Care Of Your Hair

Who doesn’t want healthy hair? That being said it’s gonna take some work to get there unless you’re really lucky and are just blessed with not having to do any work at all. But for the most of us we have to put effort into our hair and that’s not a bad thing. Taking care of your hair can be fun . Implementing things like oiling your scout before washes and doing protein treatments can go along way. Find out what your hair needs and be consistent.

5) Get Organized

getting organized can help so much. It’s a simple as riding your to do list in your notes app or rearranging your closet. The more organized you are the more clear head you’ll have and the better you’ll be able to manage the things around you. Not to mention it creates a much more soothing environment to get things done. Having an unorganized space always makes me feel so stressed, even subconsciously. When I’m organized, I just have more motivation to focus on the things that matter.

6) Drink Enough Water

It’s something we all hear often but it really is important. Not just drinking water but drinking enough is the key. Even if you can just aim for just 30 to 60 ounces of water a day you will see such a big difference in the way you digest food and have more clarity of mind. It has so many benefits. Just do it!

7) Say Yes. Go!

Yup I said it. When that random friend of yours that you haven’t seen to in two years, ask you to book a trip with them and go to Mexico City? You’re going to say… YES! That guy you’ve been messaging back-and-forth with for months, but haven’t quite had the confidence to get dressed up and go on the date? You’re finally going say… YES! The girl that keeps asking you to come to her book club, but you barely know how to read? That’s right, you’re finally going to say… YES!

As we get older, it gets easier and easier to say no. We feel like we have too much to do. Our house is dirty. We’re not in the best shape yet. We don’t have enough money. Trust me I get it but at the same time, these are fear base crutches that we used to avoid obligations and to stay in our comfort zone. This year try to go out of your comfort zone a little bit and release the fear just say yes and go!

(Obviously use this with decrement. Aka if that friend is a sus predator vibes kinda guy/girl or you just get the ick completely. Say no! Don’t lower your standards. Just be more open minded)

Remember, a lot can happen in a year. I used to think that this didn’t mean much. But having come from rock-bottom before I can attest to this. Things that you could never imagine can happen. Trust me a lot can definitely happen in a year.
