Trying out the @medicube global capsule creams with the Booster Pro today and I’m curious… does this combo really make a difference or is it just a fancy extra step? Have you tried it before? What did you think?

... Read moreWhen I first started using the Medicube Korean capsule creams with my Booster Pro, I was honestly so excited to see if I could get that 'glazed donut' glow everyone talks about! My skin felt incredibly hydrating and plump almost immediately, which was a huge win for me. The idea of a 'glass effect' really drew me in, and for the first few days, my skin was absolutely loving it. I mean, who doesn't want that luminous, healthy look? But, like with any new skincare product, especially something as concentrated as these MEDICUBE CAPSULE CREAMS, a little voice in the back of my head wondered: 'Are there any hidden side effects?' I know many of you might be thinking the same thing, especially when trying new K-beauty innovations. It's totally natural to be cautious, as everyone's skin reacts differently. My goal was to see if it would truly PLUMP YOUR SKIN and give that smooth finish without any unwanted surprises. For me, thankfully, I haven't experienced anything major. But it's always good to be aware of what to look out for. Some common, mild reactions when introducing new active ingredients or potent formulas can include slight redness, a tingling sensation (which can sometimes be normal, but should subside quickly), or minor breakouts as your skin adjusts. These are often temporary, but if they persist or worsen, that's usually a sign to pause and reassess. Especially with a C CAPSULE CREAM, sensitivity can sometimes be a factor, even if it's designed to brighten. One thing I always recommend, especially with potent products like these, is to patch test first. Apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area, like behind your ear or on your inner arm, for a few days before committing to your whole face. This helps you gauge your skin's reaction without risking a full-blown issue. Also, introducing new products slowly can make a big difference. Don't layer too many new things at once; give your skin time to adapt. While these Medicube creams are designed to be truly HYDRATING and to make skin feel plump, if you have very sensitive skin or known allergies to certain ingredients (like specific botanical extracts or high concentrations of Vitamin C), it's always wise to check the ingredient list thoroughly. Sometimes, what gives one person a 'glass skin' effect might irritate another. I personally watch for any signs of dryness or unexpected irritation, even if my skin usually tolerates new products well. It’s all about listening to your skin and being proactive rather than reactive. Overall, my experience has been positive, and IT IS GIVING GLAZED DONUT, but always prioritize your skin's health!
