Progress, not perfection. 🌱

2/22 Edited to

... Read moreIn my own experience, shifting the focus from chasing perfection to appreciating progress has been truly liberating. Often, we set unrealistic expectations for ourselves, which only leads to frustration and burnout. By embracing the mindset of "progress, not perfection," I found that small, consistent steps toward my goals were more sustainable and rewarding. For example, when learning a new skill or habit, it's tempting to expect flawless results immediately. However, recognizing that every effort contributes to growth helps maintain motivation. I started celebrating minor improvements and treated setbacks as learning opportunities instead of failures. Additionally, practicing self-compassion has been key. Accepting imperfections doesn't mean settling for less; rather, it means understanding that growth is a journey with ups and downs. This mindset encourages resilience and prevents the discouragement that perfectionism often brings. Incorporating this approach into daily life—whether in career, fitness, or creative pursuits—has enhanced my overall well-being. It’s a reminder that progress, not perfection, fosters long-term success and satisfaction.

Not all great progress ends in crazy weight loss
This got a lot of hate when I first posted it one of my groups because my progress pic doesn’t end with weight loss… now reposting a year later, it didn’t end at all. When I first posted this a year ago, I posted because I was proud of my bulk, even when I was soo scared of gaining weight.

Progress, not perfection
Ditching the All-or-Nothing Mentality Perfection isn’t the goal — progress is. The idea that you need to go all in or not at all? It’s outdated, and it’s holding people back. ✨ What’s Trending Instead: “Even 20 minutes counts.” You don’t need an hour — a short, focused workout still moves yo
