Fix your posture in under 5 minutes! (a day)

I’m a HUGE fan of movement snacks. What are movement snacks? They’re. simple, quick exercises that you can do that really add up to make a big difference in your health/fitness.

We need to drop the idea that if you aren’t doing something for 30-60 minutes then it’s not worth doing. All movement counts!

This movement snack is simple to do as you walk around your house.

When you sit or stand with poor posture, this typically means a rounded upper back and shoulders. This leads to tight pectoral muscles and chronically internally rotated shoulders which can greatly impact your mobility. You can work to counteract these effects in just a couple minutes a day.

Pairing these stretches with walking into or out of a room will help you connect a habit to something you already do (habit stacking) which makes it much more likely that you’ll do/stick with it!

Hold each stretch for 30 seconds and breathe deeply for the most benefit!
