Low Glycemic Diet ✌️
One full week of eating low glycemic… and I honestly wasn’t expecting such a noticeable difference.
The biggest change? The inflammation in my face has gone down dramatically. I haven’t changed my skincare, I changed what I’m putting on my plate.
I’ve been keeping it simple and focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods:
🥩 Lean chicken & 97% grass-fed lean beef
🥚 Eggs
🥣 Plain Greek yogurt (I eat ½ cup with cinnamon before carbs)
🍞 Ezekiel bread
🥬 Low glycemic vegetables (broccoli, spinach, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, Brussels sprouts, etc.)
🥬 Gut-healing foods like kimchi and sauerkraut
☕ Coffee after eating instead of on an empty stomach
My goal isn’t a crash diet, it’s keeping my blood sugar more stable, supporting my cholesterol, healing my gut, and avoiding the constant spikes and crashes that leave me hungry all day.
I know a lot of people are turning to weight-loss injections, but I wanted to see what I could accomplish by changing my lifestyle. My goal is to build habits I can stick with for life, not something I’ll eventually have to come off of.
It’s only been one week, but I’m already feeling less puffy, more energized, and more in control of my hunger. I’m excited to see what another few weeks brings.
Has anyone else switched to a low glycemic lifestyle? I’d love to hear what changes you’ve noticed. 🌿
