Becoming a first-time mom can be overwhelming, and there are countless things I wish I had known when I started this journey. One of the biggest lessons I learned early on is the importance of accepting help—whether it's from family, friends, or your community. Nobody expects you to do everything alone, and sharing the load can reduce stress significantly. Another lifehack I found invaluable was creating DIY solutions tailored to my baby's and my own needs. For instance, making simple DIY swaddle blankets or organizing baby essentials in accessible places saved me a lot of time and headache. These small personal touches really made daily routines feel more manageable. Sleep, or the lack thereof, is a challenge all new moms face. I wished I had known that establishing a flexible bedtime routine, rather than a strict one, can be much easier for both mom and baby. Also, napping when the baby naps—even for short periods—helps recharge your energy. Lastly, remember to be kind to yourself. Every baby and parent is unique, and what works for some may not work for others. Listening to your instincts and learning as you go is part of the journey. Embrace the highs and lows of #momlife—it’s a beautiful, messy, and rewarding chapter of life.

NUMBER ONE thing I wish I knew as a gym beginner
The wrong question to be asking more experienced lifters or people with nice physiques is “What is your workout routine?” Or “What do you do on leg/arm/back/(whatever) days?” This is because you will be met with a lot of redundancy. Most people actually do the same exact handful of “basic” worko
