FINAL Bridal Gown Hunt (Part 10: Truly Enamoured)

Here’s the FINAL part of my wedding gown try on series as a 1.45m girlie. I hope those reading has found this series helpful. I’ll be uploading a summary post soon 🫶🏼

Stop 10: Truly Enamoured

📍Oxley Tower, direct parking at Oxley Tower itself

👍🏼Extra Petite friendly: Yes. Length is alterable.

💁🏻‍♀️Guests (excl. bride): I brought 3 guests

📷 Photography NOT allowed. Honestly very bummed about this. So many influencers have filmed themselves trying on tho? They only let you take pics if you sign a package with them.

⏰ Duration: 1 hour

💰Investment: Please PM me instead of asking me to PM you. 🥹

For your appointment: I recommend wearing a stick on bra or nip stickies and seamless undies. I also went with no makeup on!

🙋🏻‍♀️Service: 5/5

The lady assisting us was very professional and my mum loved her service and this place the best. She knew every single brand and dress by heart.

👗Dresses I tried: 5

✨Quality (personal opinion): 5/5

🫶🏼Styles:

Comparing The Ivory and Truly Enamoured (TE):

The decisive rates at TE are equally as attractive as The Ivory’s decisive rates. Both stores carry the same big common brands (eg. Elie Saab, Galia Lahav, Oscar de la Renta etc). I would pick The Ivory if I’m price conscious but still want the luxury gown of my dream. The Ivory is honestly fine and the price for one gown is a lot cheaper than the price of one gown at TE. Anw, I don’t speak luxury gowns but maybe TE offers more brands that’s why it’s pricier?

If you’re willing to splurge, then go for TE because the service is a lot better. The ambience just puts you in a good mood. It’s the huge glass windows and natural lighting for me! The Ivory has a much lower ceiling but it is still cozy.

Again, please PM me instead of commenting or asking me to PM you. It’s easier for me that way as I get lost in the comments 🥹

... Read moreAs a petite bride, finding the perfect gown can be a daunting and emotional journey, but Truly Enamoured stood out for me in several ways beyond just their stunning dress selections. The studio's extra petite-friendly alterations meant I didn't have to worry about length issues, which is a huge relief when you're 1.45m tall. The natural lighting and glass windows create a warm, inviting atmosphere that made trying on expensive dresses feel special and less intimidating. One thing to note is their photography policy: pictures aren’t allowed unless you sign a package with them, which was a bit disappointing since many influencers have posted videos. I recommend going with minimal makeup and simple undergarments like nipple stickies to make the try-on experience as smooth as possible. Service at Truly Enamoured was exceptional. The consultant knew every single brand and style intimately, helping me understand what suited my frame and style best while comparing with other boutiques such as The Ivory. If you're debating between stores, consider whether you want to prioritize price or service and ambience—the experience at Truly Enamoured might justify splurging for some brides. For brides hunting for luxury gowns with top designer labels like Elie Saab, Galia Lahav, and Oscar de la Renta, Truly Enamoured is a worthy final stop. Plus, with direct parking at Oxley Tower, convenience is an added bonus. If you want to dive deeper, my full series includes reviews of ten bridal studios—check out my TikTok for detailed video insights. Every bride deserves to feel truly enamoured on their big day, and sharing my journey hopefully helps you find that perfect gown too!
