Mommy/Baby Hospital Bags
I went in for my induction on January 3rd and had a baby by 10:09 pm that day. Since this was my second pregnancy, I minimized what I packed and still ended up not using items.
My priorities for packing were for comfort, feeling clean, and access.
As for my baby bag, it had the essentials along with the items we used for the photographs and then having a couple options to take her home in since you never know how things fit.
I also only opted to just use what the hospital provided from the gown, robe, socks, and items for postpartum. Reminder, your insurance covers all the items in your room. So once you leave they throw it all away. Pack an extra bag or leave space to bring all those items home. I hate waste.
