What I would pack in my Hospital Bag... Again👜
1. Is obvious, of course bring all your toiletries you use on a regular basis and dont forget your hairbrush
2. Bath towel- the hospital ones are incredibly small it's not even funny, and Im 120 lbs for reference and I'm telling youuu they were tiny
3. Frida mom peri bottle- yes they do provide them but the angle of the frida mom one is just better and I mean, in all technicality the hospital one works just fine but I did really prefer having my peri bottle. Worth the money for me, plus it has its own travel bag.
4. Disposable underwear- just more comfortable then what the hospital gives and less layers
5. Maxi pads with wings- really helps soak up any bleeding and you dont wanna soak through with just the underwear alone
6. Personal hospital gown- for comfortability. I thought about it last go round and i really regretted it especially when my in laws would come in before I actually delivered. Just something I had to be mindful about m, but I'd rather just be focused on my labor.
7. Robe- something comfortable after the shower that still opens for any tests they may have to take and for breastfeeding
8. Grippy socks- for during labor. Hospital ones are typically big and werent fuzzy and warm like the ones I brought
9. Nursing bras- to nurse of course. Probably just 2, no need for more.
10. Slippers- for the day after labor. You want more cushion then just socks for suuure
11. Shower shoes- if nothing else, this
12. Earth mama nipple butter- was literally a LIFESAVERR for me
13. Pillow- the hospital ones are paper thin. Its not a necessity, but it heavily helped my comfortability which is definitely important for me. Im delivering a baby, let me have some back and neck support!
14. Newborn hats, socks, and mittens- yes the hospital provides some, but its nice to have your own too. Especially if you want to tske pictures
15. Newborn footie pajamas- gotta have your sweet one in some cutie little pjs🥺
16. T-shirt dress- I dont wanna have to struggle putting on pants or anything even remotely complicated when I check out. Just slip on an easy flowy dress w my socks and slippers and get to my comfortable home.
Having a baby is hard enough and enough work, dont be underprepared on the very first day🫶
