What's your monthly digital reset routine? 🗓️

Being a person that prioritizes organization and productivity, monthly resets are a must for me. Digital resets are especially a must, to keep my work organized and as decluttered as possible.

Reflect

It's so easy to fall off track when it comes to working from home. Making sure work gets done is quite literally up to me, so I love setting goals and priorities every month, something that I'm able to follow up on at the end of the month. Tracking progress and being able to visually see the things I have accomplished throughout the month is so rewarding to me, so I love taking the time to review and reflect before prepping for a new month.

Tech Refresh

Going along with the theme of organization, decluttering my tech devices is a non-negotiable. I typically do a mini version of this each week, so it's not a huge and daunting task at the end of the month. But I do like to go through and make sure my files are organized, inboxes are cleared and updated etc. This is also when I like to update tech wallpapers and just overall refreshing my devices for the new month.

New Month Prep

I love having everything ready for a new month, so when the first comes around, I already feel productive and ready for new projects, work etc. Prepping for a new month for me basically looks like monthly calendar updates, ongoing to do lists, setting new intentions/goals, and updating my content calendars.

... Read moreA monthly digital reset is vital for maintaining productivity and a streamlined workflow. Firstly, reflecting on your previous month helps identify accomplishments and areas for improvement. Setting specific goals for the upcoming month using tools like Notion or Google Calendar enhances accountability. Another key aspect is the tech refresh. Regularly decluttering your digital space not only makes it visually pleasing but also reduces frustration. Organize files, clear inboxes, and update your tech devices with new wallpapers. This keeps your environment fresh and motivating. Additionally, scheduling breaks during your resets can rejuvenate your creativity. Lastly, preparation for the new month should involve personal and professional goals. Create a detailed to-do list, outline key projects, and prioritize tasks. By doing this, you’re entering the month with intent and foresight. Consider integrating mindfulness practices into your routine, such as gratitude journaling or meditation, to enhance mental clarity. This holistic approach ensures a more balanced and productive start each month.
